Hello, friends and colleagues!

A fabulously condensed introduction to the people I talk about in my blog.

Andrew
Andrew used to live in Newcastle but has now trotted off home to Bucks. I pester him with all things website related and secretly plot to steal his macbook.

Ben
I met Ben through his idiot friend, Matt. I only ever see him on drunken nights out in my hometown, and now I'm old and boring I don't have that many of these anymore.

Dale
A friend from work. Dale gets into all sorts of tricky situations, just to keep me amused during the working week. Well, I suppose that may not be why he does it, but it keeps me amused nevertheless.

Helen
My sister. Three years older than me, makes brilliant cakes.

Helen D
A friend from my old horse riding school.

Janine
My confidante over all things romance, et vair cool. Drives Martha the Mini.

Jenn
A friend from the stables. She's also Lisa's sister.

Jill
My riding instructor.

Keith
Mutti's ex-partner. We all lived together in a big ol' house, which Keith cleaned obsessively. Keith is the reason I spent most mornings looking for my shoes, keys, bananas or handbag. They split up in October 2009, we stayed in the big ol' house, Keith left and peace has reigned ever since.

Laura
My best friend =) We call each other "wife" and it's starting to worry our parents. Laura is a newly qualified teacher (madness).

Leigh
My manager. Leigh is great and knows a lot of stuff about a lot of things. Working with Leigh is like working with Google!

Lisa
A friend from the stables. She's always plotting my downfall.

Mike
Helen's boyfriend. He has an IQ of 3 billion and twelve. Mike is a physicist and works away from home on something I call The Science Boat. It's quite an accurate description.

Muriel
My car. You can read more about her on her own page.

Mutti
My mother (Mutti is German for Mummy). She has a terrifying job I don't understand. It's something to do with elections. She isn't German, I just like the word.

Neil
My boyfiend, only I don't say that too loudly because I don't want to frighten him off. My Most Favourite Person, he has contributed greatly to the Year of Adventure with many a day trip, climbs in the Lakes and swims in the sea, no matter how cold.

Sarah
A young whippersnapper from the stables.

TedPod
My iPod. I have many, many names - it's rare for my family to call me Emily - and Ted is one of them. When I had to name my new iPod (to replace the old EmPod) I thought TedPod had a nice ring to it.

Tiffany
A horse at my old riding school.
